St. Seraphin of Montegranaro

1540–1604

An Italian Capuchin lay brother, Seraphin was known for his holiness and his miracles. He was a porter and a beggar for his friary. He is the patron of the Capuchins and of the diocese of Ascoli Piceno. His life teaches that a lay brother can be a saint by his holiness.
